We are so glad you have taken a moment to visit the Scott Station Inn website! We assure you if you stay with us you will find a place of rest, relaxation and some of the best cooking around.

We pride ourselves in being able to maintain an inn which caters to you, our guests. We want you to be able to get away from all of the busyness of life so you can catch a breath and enjoy a piece of small town America.

Our inn is located right in the heartland region of the beautiful horse country of Kentucky. The horse farms, rolling hills and lush landscapes are what makes Kentucky such an exceptional getaway for you the traveler.

Come join us in an experience you'll surely never forget!

Joe and I were high school sweethearts from Conneaut, Ohio---land of Lake Erie perch and excursion fishing. We came to Wilmore in 1995 for Joe to attend Asbury Seminary, and won a one-night stay at the local bed-and-breakfast, Scott Station Inn. I fell in love with the place and never dreamed 15 years later we would be the proud owners of the most unique bed-and-breakfast in Kentucky.

We are the proud parents of Adam, an outdoor adventure guide who splits his time between ski resorts in Breckinridge, CO and a rafting and biking resort in Ohiopyle, PA, and Jodie, a health and nutrition counselor in Chattanooga, TN and her wonderful husband, Justin who is an engineer. We are also the proud parents of Fergie, our 5 lb. Yorkie who serves as guard dog over the Inn. Just to give you fair warning---she will beg for a taste of your breakfast!

In our free time, Joe writes and records Christian music (he's working on a new CD---check the website for updates!), enjoys playing golf, and working in our yard. I love to garden, make crafts from my herb garden, and write. Before owning the Scott Station Inn, I worked as a teacher's aide at Providence School, an alternative school here in Wilmore. Joe works as a cardiovascular ultrasound technician for Lexington Clinic.

The thing we love best about owning Scott Station Inn is the opportunity to meet new people. We love making people comfortable, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and serving them a delicious, hot breakfast with amazing fresh ground coffee! We would love the opportunity to welcome you to Wilmore. Please come visit us soon! Its like coming home.

History of the Scott Station Inn

Scott Station Inn was built in the late 1800s. This country farmhouse style home has been used over the years as a residence, a boarding house and a dormitory for Asbury University. Its heritage continues to live on today!

Today, Wilmore and Scott Station Inn retain their small town charm amidst an increase in the town's residents. The current population is just at 6200.
